Bundling photos and scans into a single PDFTurning photos and scans into one PDF
Attach ten receipt photos one by one and whoever receives them has to open ten files. Bundle them into a single PDF and they can page straight through — and you stop bumping into attachment limits. When photos stand in for official paperwork, a PDF is also far more likely to be accepted.
This tool reads your images inside the browser and writes the PDF there. Nothing is uploaded, so it’s safe for sensitive shots like an ID card or a bank statement.
Two ways to do it
Fit to A4 — centers every image on one page with a margin. Use this for anything you’ll print or submit. The aspect ratio is preserved and nothing gets cropped.
Keep original size — uses each image’s pixel size as the page size. Best for things you’ll only view on screen, or wide screenshots that would shrink on a standard page.

Image to PDF: good to know
- The order in the list is the order you get. Images stack in the order you picked them, so pick them in the order you want.
- The supported formats are JPG and PNG . HEIC — the iPhone default — won’t work as is. Share with “Most Compatible” turned on, or convert to JPG first.
- A transparent PNG background shows up white in the PDF.
- Your photos go in untouched, so quality never drops. The flip side: big photos make a big PDF. For long bundles it helps to shoot at a lower resolution in the first place.
- If a page comes out sideways, use Rotate PDFto stand it up.
Common questions
How many images can I add? There’s no set limit, though dozens of high-resolution photos will eat memory. If it won’t go in one pass, build it in parts and use Merge PDFto join them.
Will the text be searchable? No. Text inside a photo is just picture data. If you need a searchable PDF, build it with a scanner app that does OCR.
Attaching ten photos of receipts means ten files to open. Bundled into one PDF they read as a single document and stay under attachment limits. Official submissions also tend to accept a PDF where they would reject loose photos.
Images are read and written inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so ID cards and bank documents are safe to handle here.
Two modes
Fit to A4 — every image is centred on an A4 page with a margin. Best for anything you will print or submit. The aspect ratio is preserved and nothing is cropped.
Keep original size — the page takes the pixel size of the image. Better for on screen material, or wide screenshots that would shrink on A4.
Worth knowing
- Page order follows the list order, which is the order you added the files.
- Supported formats are JPG and PNG. HEIC from an iPhone will not work directly — save as “most compatible” or convert to JPG first.
- Transparent areas in a PNG appear white in the PDF.
- The original photo data is embedded, so quality is not reduced. Large photos make a large PDF; lowering the camera resolution first helps.
- If a page ends up sideways, straighten it with Rotate PDF.
Common questions
How many images can I add? There is no fixed limit, but dozens of high resolution photos use a lot of memory. Build it in batches and join them with Merge PDF.
Will the text be searchable? No. Text inside a photo is a picture. For searchable output you need a scanner app with character recognition.
