40쪽짜리 안내문에서 신청서 두 장만 보내야 할 때, 통째로 보내면 받는 사람이 그 두 장을 다시 찾아야 합니다. 필요한 쪽만 뽑아 보내는 편이 서로 빠릅니다. 이 도구는 그 작업을 브라우저 안에서 끝냅니다. 파일이 서버로 올라가지 않으니 주민번호나 계좌가 적힌 서류도 마음 놓고 다룰 수 있습니다.

범위 적는 법

• 1-3 — 1쪽부터 3쪽까지
• 1-3, 7 — 1~3쪽과 7쪽
• 10-12, 5 — 순서를 거꾸로 적어도 됩니다. 결과는 적은 순서대로 담깁니다
• 비워 두면 전체 쪽이 대상입니다

두 가지 방식

범위를 한 파일로 — 고른 쪽들을 모아 PDF 한 개로 만듭니다. 「신청서만 보내기」처럼 쓸 때 적합합니다.

쪽마다 낱장 — 고른 쪽을 각각 별개 파일로 만듭니다. 스캔한 영수증 묶음을 한 장씩 떼어 낼 때 편합니다. 내려받기 버튼이 쪽 수만큼 생기니, 쪽이 많다면 범위를 나눠서 두세 번에 처리하는 편이 낫습니다.

PDF 분할, 알아 두면 좋은 것

• 쪽 번호는 PDF 뷰어에 보이는 번호가 아니라 실제 몇 번째 장인가로 셉니다. 표지·목차가 로마숫자로 매겨져 있어도 첫 장이 1쪽입니다.
• 범위에 없는 쪽의 내용은 결과 파일에 남지 않습니다. 가려서 안 보이게 한 것이 아니라 실제로 빠집니다.
• 암호가 걸린 PDF 는 열리지 않습니다. 암호를 먼저 푸세요.
• 뽑아낸 조각을 다시 합치려면 PDF 합치기를 쓰세요.

자주 묻는 것

원본이 바뀌나요? 아닙니다. 원본 파일은 손대지 않습니다. 새 파일을 만들어 내려줄 뿐입니다.

쪽이 몇 장인지 모르겠습니다. 범위를 비워 두고 「쪽마다 낱장」으로 한 번 눌러 보면 생성된 파일 수가 곧 전체 쪽 수입니다.

Writing a range

• 1-3 — pages 1 to 3
• 1-3, 7 — pages 1 to 3 plus page 7
• 10-12, 5 — order does not matter for validity; pages come out in the order you list them
• Leave it empty to use every page

Two modes

Range as one file — collects the pages you picked into a single PDF. Good for “just send the application form”.

One file per page — makes a separate file for each page. Handy for a stack of scanned receipts. You get one download button per page, so for long documents it is better to work in a few smaller ranges.

Worth knowing

• Page numbers count physical sheets, not the numbers printed on the page. Even if the cover uses roman numerals, the first sheet is page 1.
• Pages outside your range are genuinely removed from the result, not merely hidden.
• Password protected PDFs will not open. Remove the password first.
• To join the pieces back together, use Merge PDF.

Common questions

Does this change my original? No. The original file is untouched; a new file is created for you.

I do not know the page count. Leave the range empty and run “one file per page” once — the number of files is the page count.
